Netball is an atheletic sport played primarily by females throughout the world. Just over 10 million girls and women as well as some men play this sport.

While talking about netball, politics and health often comes into the equation... lets talk about that too.

i am back

Its been a long time since I wrote anything on this blog. I have been doing several things and have tended to be on facebook  fairly often having set up quite a few pages in that social media stream.

However, with things continuing to happen at a fairly fast clip, in Barbados and the rest of the world , I would attempt again to remain relevant, I have to do some visual changes etc to this blog .

With the Olympics coming up in July, international cricket in the Caribbean in March/April: The political goings on in Europe, China and Africa , i dont think there will be a shortage of topics. So feel free to post what you want to, and lets get going again.

WHAT A SHOW!!!!!!

REALLY

How exciting it is to be part of the Caribbean Diaspora during these Olympics.
What words can be used to described the performance of the Jamaican athletes in particular and the Caribbean as a whole.
Truly we have dispelled the myth that the only place to get proper training in athletics is in the United States of America!!!!!!!!!
Usain Bolt is a special athlete...He is awesome, incredible, supreme and all those types of adjectives.

What about the Jamaican women...They continue to astonish the ahtletic world with their strenght and power.

The history making performance in the 100 metres will never be forgotten.

And Trinidad and Tobago...Have been up there with the best of them, culminating in the silver medal in the men's 100 metres.

The Nederland Antilles were unfortunate to be disqualified in that epci men's 200 metres.

Barbados had a semi finalist in the 110 metres hurldes, Guyana was in the second round in the 400 metres..and the beat goes on and on.
