When the new Board of Directors came on stream in 2006,netballers in Barbados felt that new things were going to happen as there was talk that progress was going to be made. 2008 brings a different center pass. This domestic season has been one of the most disappointing in years.
Poor umpiring, officiating, skills and a Board that is poor on all levels. Tell me this now, what went wrong?
With the recent call by the clubs for a meeting with the BNA, things seem to have reached the stage where enough is enough. How can the BNA not listen to the general body knowing that without these players, there is no sport?
Resignations will be a part of any organisation when things may not be going the way people will like them, but when three people resign within the space of a few months, isn't something wrong?
Answer this now.Who next? Will it be the Secretary who doesn't seem to function and if she does it is only at "big" occasions? Will it be the umpire turned first VP turned head of selection? Or will it be the coach of the U-16 team? Throughout all this, the President has not said a solitary word.Interesting !!
Is this the last quarter for this Board? I think so. The final whistle was just blown.qlgew
