Netball is an atheletic sport played primarily by females throughout the world. Just over 10 million girls and women as well as some men play this sport.

While talking about netball, politics and health often comes into the equation... lets talk about that too.

Together we will mix it up for the betterment of everyone concerned.

BARBADOS NETBALL SEASON WINDING DOWN

The 2008 BNA season is nearing an end with the junior knockouts starting this week.
The division one competition, is interestingly poised with STructural Systems Silver Raiders having one game to play and at the top of the standings. Silver Raiders is scheduled to play Banks Spurs. A win for the Raiders will give them the championship for the first time. A loss will put them into a two best of three play off with last year's champions Pine Hill St. Barnabas.

However, there is talk around town that there is some controversy surrounding the refixutring of the Raiders/Spurs clash...so stay tuned .

The Senior national squad has finally started to train .The Barbados Netball team's first assigment will be participation in the Regional netball championships in St. Vincent in July, when they will come up against Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, St. Vincent & Grenadines and Canada.
